Rocket Propulsion Systems
Pictured is the thrust chamber and injector assembly for a 40,000 lb
thrust rocket engine developed for Rocket Development Company. This
project is a perfect example of how an innovative approach can pay big
dividends. With the design team taking a fresh look at materials and
manufacturing methods, the engine was designed, manufactured and
successfully tested for approximately one-tenth of the cost of using
traditional engine building methods. Integrated Design Services
supplied mechanical design, solid modeling and drafting support on the
